TOFFEE POPCORN.

Homemade popcorn tastes much better than store bought and toffee popcorn is so much fun and easy to make and everyone loves it.

Ingredients:

·      2 tbsp oil of your choice

·      ½ cup popping corn (popcorn kernels)

·      ¼ cup of soft butter

·      ¼ cup of brown sugar

·      3 tbsp of golden syrup or honey

Procedure:

1.    In a deep pan pour in the oil and corn. Stir so the corn is well coated in oil.

2.    Over medium heat, shake the pan occasionally until all the corn pops.

3.    In a sauté pan over medium heat. Add the butter, brown sugar and syrup and stir till the butter is fully melted and sugar has dissolved.

4.    Pour the popcorn in a large mixing bowl and drizzle the toffee sauce on top.

5.    Stir the popcorn until it is fully coated.

6.    Let it cool well enough to eat.

Enjoy.

  2. I love popcorn! It is such a staple in our house. I've never made it at home though, I just buy those microwavable bags. I need to try your toffee version, it looks incredible Annie!

Wishing you a wonderful rest of your week! :)

  6. Totally agree that homemade popcorn taste much better than store bought though I tend to prefer savory seasonings since I don't eat sugar.
